There have been mock trials to condemn God for things like
the holocaust. There have been historical figures in history claiming that God must be
guilty of something; read the book of Job in the bible. There have been a lot of
people through the ages trying to condemn God for this world's iniquity and all the darkness
within. However, for the most part, Christian theology remains silent. Whether
preachers or ministers of God, many have simply said "Just trust God." Many
others have said, "We cannot understand the here and now, but we know He is just and
right." When left standing behind cliché answers, many are left to suffering
and wondering why.
Having said all of the above, the chapter linked below attempts to delve into the concept of a just God despite all the suffering mankind has experienced through the ages. I believe if you will a company me, and read the following full text chapter very carefully, you too will say, "God is just.”
I must prepare you; this chapter looks real hard at human suffering and pulls no punches at just how hard life can be.
